Die Types: HA, Shear 

• Sheared nameplates 

• Cannot emboss 

• Hand hole only 

• Electronic Shear: 

• Larger plates cannot exceed 8” row width   

• Smaller plates that are <0.5” on either the Height or Length become very challenging 

• If you have a plate that needs to be sheared that is < 0.5” please see manufacturing lead first to make sure this is something they can do 

• Maximum quantity of 5,000 

• Blanking: 

• Holer only extends to 7.3” row width. Anything wider will need to be completed individually in hand ops.   

• Can go as small as .25 between cuts but this small size does present some challenges from manufacturing side.  It is possible but takes longer to produce handling small parts. 

• Check with TS if larger quantity 

• Individual tags.  Pressure-sensitive adhesive orders shipped with cleaner and application instructions.   

• One color tag that is other than black, add ‘Custom Color: No Black’ 

• Colored or reversed color HRI – 11-day lead time 

• Colors Black & Black percentage – enter as 1 Custom Color: Black & ##% Black 

• Black half-tones okay 

• Color white okay 

• Colored variable info – no white behind it. This will make the variable info a slightly lighter shade than the rest of the art in the same color. NO variable info in yellow.   

• Satin material - cannot have bar code or color on tag 

• Tedlar is optional  

• Premask is optional 

• Holes optional 

• No clear coat – if clear coat needed would have to be done as screenprinted product 
• Tabbed:
  • Material thickness 5 mil and 8 mil – 250 plates per ring max.  Standard quantity per ring will be 250 unless otherwise noted.  
  • Material thickness 12 mil and 20 mil – 100 plates per ring max.  Standard quantity per ring will be 100 unless otherwise noted.
